Lavazza (Italy) Lavazza Series 263 Religious Thoughts of Prehistoric Man 1968 Series 263 Religious Thoughts of Prehistoric Man 1968 EL6 - This tells the story of early religious rituals in a series of colour pictures of prehistoric man. Included are cave paintings, rites concerning bears and skulls, burial rituals, ancient monuments and altars and votive offerings including sacrifice. These were issued by Italian coffee company Lavazza in the 1960s and there is Italian text on the backs. Obviously it helps if you can read the language, but we think these cards are sufficiently interesting and the pictures sufficiently self-explanatory that anyone can enjoy them. These are size 110 x 70mm
