Crystal Cat Cards Dogs and Pets Purr-Fect Reaction Cats by Louis Wain Series LW3 2005 Purr-Fect Reaction Cats by Louis Wain Series LW3 2005 L6 - Andrew Waterhouse has produced more of these cards featuring the work of celebrated ‘cat artist’ Louis Wain, with this series, each in the same format as previously, colour portraits of cats which have been endowed with ‘human’ characteristics, the postcard backs of which list the subject titles. The facial expressions on these furry feline head and shoulders portraits reveal what these cats are thinking, a haughty female titled ‘keep off, please’, a smug puss (‘that kiss was nice’), a battered tom (‘she did it’), etc. Wain had a unique and masterful style that endears him to cat-lovers and makes his work highly collectable.
