Classic Jaguar Series 1 (numbered 153-156) 2010 EL4 - Classics indeed, the four models selected for this card series are the XK120, the aluminium-bodied sports car introduced at the London Motor Show of 1948, the Mk II of which more than 100,000 were built between 1959 and 1967, the fabulous high-performance V-12 launched in 1961 and the 420 saloon dating from 1966. K.W.’s colour artwork pictures each model at an angle from the front, repeated in miniature and followed by descriptive text down the left side of the postcard-format backs. Size 143 x 104mm.

Jaguar E-Type (numbered 149 -152) 2010 EL4 - For many it represented the climax of the true British sports car, and it still turns heads today. The original 3.8 model pictured on the first of these four cards was a hit from the moment it was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show of 1961. The other three cards follow developments in style and performance with the SI FHC (1964), SII DHC and the SIII DHC of 1971 depicted as one of the last 50 special edition black E-Types. Land Rover Legends Series 1 (Numbered 093-096) 2000 EL4 - These cards show Land Rover Legends, four in all, with descriptions on the postcard format backs. Included in this first set are a 1952 80-inch Truck Cab, a 1949 80-inch in Automobile Association colours, a 107-inch Pick-up and a 1957 88-inch Hard top model all rather charmingly set against an appropriate background. Land Rover Legends Series 2 (Numbered 097-100) 2000 EL4 - Following on from there 1st series we now have another 4 Land Rover Legends including, an 88-inch Pick-up/Truck-cab, a 1960s recovery vehicle used by the Mersey Tunnel Authority Police based on the Series II 88-inch chassis, a 109-inch One-ton version and a 1962 110-inch forward control model in British Telecom colours. All are pictured in colour against an appropriate background and there is a brief description on the postcard format back. The cards, numbered 097-100, are size 152 x 105mm.

Land Rover Legends Series 3 (Numbered 101-104) 2000 EL4 - Here we have another four Land Rover models shown against suitable backgrounds in the same format as the previous two series. In this batch numbered 101-102 are a 1982 109-inch Station-Wagon, a Metropolitan Police version of the 109-inch Hard-top, a RAF Airfield Crash Rescue vehicle from 1971 and a Series III 88-inch in Coastguard livery. Mini Cooper (numbered 161-164) 2010 EL4 - A British car with the wow factor, the Mini Cooper launched in 1961 with its 997cc engine was a huge improvement on the standard car. The Austin Mk I Cooper features first, followed by the 1967 ‘S’, Mk II, the Mk III 1275 S and finally the Mini Cooper-Cooper Car Co. in British Racing Green with white stripes as driven by the Cooper Works Team on the circuit during the 1960s. I had a 1959 Mini and my aspiration to own a Cooper was never achieved! Postcard-format backs. Size 143 x 104mm.
