Included is a Lyre Bird on a Australian 1/- stamp, a cow shown on a Hungarian stamp, a South African 2d stamp of a Zebra, a Caiman Alligator on an 10c stamp from Argentina, a Gambian 4d stamp of an Amethyst Starling, an Ibex stamp from the Sudan, a Cameroun 10c stamp of an Ox, a Republic of San Marino 1 lire stamp of a Pointer Dog, a Czech stamp of Marmots, Indonesian 25 Sen Otter stamp, Sarawak Orang-Utan stamp, East African Giraffe stamp, a show jumping horse on a French 75f, Newfoundland 3 cent stamp of a Caribou, a Flying Fox as pictured on a Seychelles 5 cents stamp, a New Zealand 1d stamp with Kiwi and Aden 10 cents stamp picturing Camels. Not sure about the word Zoo in the title though as there can’t be many zoos with an albatross and who would want to keep Wasps and Mosquitos? The backs contain plenty of interesting facts and the combination of stamps and animals makes this ideal for many collections. Cards size 67 x 35mm.

Some of our favourite animal illustrations include the wolf at night, the mouse, the charging warthog, the lion, jaguar, tiger, elephant, the polar bear, the kudu in flight, walrus, tortoise and buffalo. This set was also produced by an anonymous issuer in 1954 and by Harden Bros. & Lindsay Ltd in 1959. A charming set with cards size 69 x 37mm.

Some of our favourite animal illustrations include the wolf at night, the mouse, the charging warthog, the lion, jaguar, tiger, elephant, the polar bear, the kudu in flight, walrus, tortoise and buffalo. An album was originally available to house this and the set was also produced by an anonymous issuer in 1954 and with Dryfood’s confectionery products in 1956.
