The numbered backs tell her story from her birth in November 1922 when she was known as Constance Ockelman through to her death in July 1973 at the age of just 50. Her first film was ‘Soroity House’ in 1939, but it was her role in the 1941 film ‘I Wanted Wings’ which really made her name. A string of hits followed including ‘Sullivan’s Travels’, ‘This Gun for Hire’, ‘So Proudly We Hail’ and ‘Blue Dahlia’. She really smoulders in these alluring shots. Size 89 x 64mm.

Topps (USA) Films, TV, Sci Fi & Comic Art Mars Attacks Heritage 2012 Mars Attacks Heritage 2012 LT55 - When Topps released their original trading card set ‘Mars Attacks’ featuring artwork by Wallace Wood, Bob Powell and Norman Saunders it was an instant hit and the story of Martians invading Earth has become a cult classic (also turned into a magazine and film) so it is no surprise that in 2012 on the 50th anniversary of the franchise Topps decided to release a reissued version. This set of 55 can stand alone, but there was also a set of 10 showing scenes deleted from the original and a set of 15 New Universe cards based on the comic book. These have all the fascinating and gory details of the originals in excellent colour and the numbered backs tell the story. The last card in the series is a checklist which also contains a synopsis of the story. Size 89 x 64m.
