Included amongst the great names of English and Australian cricket in the golden era after World War I are Australian A.A. Mailey, Surrey’s J.B. Hobbs, H. Sutcliffe of Yorkshire, Kent’s F.E. Woolley and Gloucestershire’s W.R. Hammond. There are excellent biographies by Brian Heald on the backs which are full of interesting facts about the players. A second series in similar format was produced in 1996. These cards are size 79 x 51mm
