Forest’s Tony Woodcock who later played in Germany, Liverpool’s Tommy Smith, Bryan Robson who signed for Newcastle in 1962, Hull’s Stuart Pearson who played 15 times for England, Stoke and Ireland star Terry Conroy, Charlie George of Arsenal, footballing legend George Best pictured in Hibrnian kit, Norman Hunter of Leeds United and Sammy McIlroy of Manchester United who was Matt Busby’s last signing for the club. The numbered backs contain plenty of interesting information for instance we learn that George Best was sacked by Hibs for going drinking with the French rugby side and not turning up at the Hibs ground until a week later!
