Cup. That was in 1927. Forty years later, the “Bluebirds” were in the midst of a purple period, as become apparent from card no. 14 in this new series, the Cardiff City players pictured on the front of the SV Hamburg programme for the semi-final of the European Cup Winners Cup on April 24th, 1968, with Brian Harris who played in all nine games of the club’s cup run, as captain. The games on the other programmes include those against Real Zaragoza, Torpedo Moscow and F C Porto. Could do with more information on the backs. Size 78 x 60mm.
