J.F.Sporting Collectibles Cricket Victorian Cricketers 2012 Victorian Cricketers 2012 LT24 - Black line-drawings on a yellow background with rather strange dots and lines as shading give these head and shoulders portraits a somewhat unearthly appearance. The subjects, numbered in alphabetical county order (or university in the case of R.A. Mitchell) include two Lords (Hawke and Harris), a couple of Reverends and, of course, W.G. Grace who played 360 matches for Gloucestershire and 22 for England, one more than Nottinghamshire’s W. Barnes. Between them, their careers spanned the years 1962 to 1900. Size 90 x 64mm.

Five of the players clocked up more than seventy Tests – Kanhai, Gibbs, Bari, Engineer and Walters – whereas Abbas turned out for Pakistan just once, details of which are recorded on the card backs.
