Space Mysteries 1966
Barratt Aviation & Space Space Mysteries 1966 Space Mysteries 1966 25 - This set was issued in 1966 in the middle of the space race between America and Russia, but this largely concentrates on unidentified flying objects, U.F.Os, mostly in the form of ‘flying saucer’ sightings in Britain and the U.S.A. Apparently as far back as the ancient Egyptians floating circular craft were seen descending from the heavens and Native American legends tell of gods visiting in circular ships. The colour pictures are backed by interesting text on the reverse. Issued with “Space Man Bubble Gum Cigarettes” these cards are size 64 x 35mm.
