In recognition of the role of our allies, the subjects include two Belgian, four French and four Russian, the remaining fifteen being British regiments among them The Black Watch, Durham Light Infantry, the Grenadier, Irish and Scots Guards, South Wales Borderers, The Royal Engineers and the Royal Field Artillery, each with a brief history on the back. (The set is minus the First Life Guards and The South Wales Borderers)
