Rothmans Film & Stage Stars Pre-1940 Prominent Screen Favourites 1934 Prominent Screen Favourites 1934 24 - This set contains black and white pictures of film stars with their name at the bottom. Among the better known are Anna May Wong, Dorothy Bouchier, Ann Dvorak and Sidney Fox and some like Anne Grey and Dorothy Bartlam appear more than twice. No doubt they would all have been well-known to cinema goers in the 1930s, but from our point of view it is a shame the backs just contain the title, details of Rothmans and the wording “reproduced from actual photographs”. That said these are very good pictures with cards size 65 x 39mm.
