Brook Motors Railways Railway Engines 1970 (125 x 105mm) Railway Engines 1970 (125 x 105mm) EL12 - This is a first rate set issued by the Huddersfield firm of Brook Motors, part of Hawker Siddeley, containing excellent colour artwork by Weatheral showing steam trains at work on preserved railways such as Ffestiniog, Snowdon, Keighley, the Severn Valley, Bluebell Line, Dart Valley etc. Included also is the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway’s 15” gauge “River Mite” with tiny open carriages. The large format gives extraordinary detail and clarity and a description of each is given on the front at the bottom. The backs advertise electric motors and control gears. These are fine works of art in their own right and worthy of any collection. Cards size 124 x 105mm
