Geatons, Blackburn Rovers’ J.E. Thompson who we are told broke a leg after scoring a ‘hat-trick’ in 1933, Portsmouth outside-right F. Worrall, W. Furness of Leeds United, Sheffield United’s J. Pickering, Welsh International and Swansea star T. Martin, Aston Villa’s H. Morton, W. McKay of Manchester United, Fulham’s H.E. Hammond who also played cricket for Sussex, Arsenal’s J. Crayston and J.J. Williams of Huddersfield Town who by the time the card was printed had moved to Aston Villa. This set was also produced with a cream back – see website for availability.
