No. 5 is Jimmy Johnstone of Celtic, No. 6 is Jimmy Robertson of Tottenham, No. 7 is Tony Book of Manchester City, No. 8 is Alex Young who played 227 league games for Everton, No. 9 is Arsenal's John Sammuel and No. 10 is Keith Weller of Millwall. Epic Cards Football European Footballers 1st Series (footballers from the 1940s onwards) 2019 European Footballers 1st Series (footballers from the 1940s onwards) 2019 10 - This is an unsual set from a new issuer containing caricatures of famous footballers drawn by Ed Carter. The caricatures are in colour and are set against a green grass background with series title at the top and the player’s name, artist’s credit and number at the bottom. The green bordered backs are also numbered and give information about the footballer and their career. Amongst the stars are the legendary Stanley Matthews, Hungarian Ferenc Puskas, Luis Suarez who plays for Barcelona and Uruguay, Eusebio who is considered one of Portugal’s all-time greats, England 1966 World Cup player Bobby Charlton and Manchester United star George Best. Sure to be popular with football card collectors these are size 69 x 36mm.
