Kane Animals & Wildlife Wild Animals 1954 Wild Animals 1954 K50 - These cards may be tiny, but they still pack a punch with excellent black and white photos of creatures accompanied by informative text on the reverse. The featured wild animals include a Tiger, Brown Bear, Cheetah, Polar Bear, Zebra, Nile Crocodile, Lion, European Badger, African Python, American Bison Ring-tailed Lemur, Elephant and Giraffe as well as the more unusual Chital, Drill, Kongoni, Sambar and Tree Hyrax. This last creature is most unusual as although it is only slightly larger than a Rabbit it is actually related to the Elephant. G D S Cards Animals & Wildlife Cattle Breeds 2007 Cattle Breeds 2007 EL4 - To the best of my knowledge this is the first series devoted to livestock since before the war. Pictured in colour are champion cows of four breeds, British Blonde, British Limousin, Hereford and Welsh Black, with their history and distinguishing characteristics described on the backs. I was surprised to discover that the British Linousin is now the largest numerical cattle breed, beef or dairy, in the UK with 35% of all calves born in the year 2006. Size 150 x 105mm
