Beginning with the Toffees’ pre-war centre-forward ‘Dixie’ Dean whose amazing 61 goals in the 1927/8 season brought Everton the Division One title, we continue with post-war legends including Alan Ball, Brian Labone, DuncanMcKenzie, Neville Southall, Colin Harvey, Howard Kendall and Joe Royale, who made his Goodison debut at the age of 16 going on to play 270 games for the club and eventually returning as manager, as revealed in the career histories on the card backs.
