The colour cards picture a well-known view with a service coach from that area in the foreground. For instance Durham Cathedral is shown with a Northern General Transport bus, whilst a Sheffield United Tours bus is pictured at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. The pictures are labelled on the front on the right-hand side and other views include Princess Street in Edinburgh with a Scottish Omnibuses coach, a Midland Red bus at West Gate Warwick, a Ribble Motor Services coach at Derwentwater, Victoria Coach Station with a Samuelson New Transport bus, a Black and White Motorways coach at Cheltenham Spa, an East Kent red bus at Chilham Square, a Premier Travel Limited bus at Kings College Chapel in Cambridge etc. The backs have black text and tell you more about the bus company and their routes. They also tell us that these were issued courtesy of “Coaching Journal & Bus Review”. This lovely series was also produced by Gee’s Food Products in 1955. Cards size 67 x 35mm

Brooke Bond Brooke Bond Tea Card Issues Flags and Emblems of the World blue back 1967 Flags and Emblems of the World blue back 1967 50 - These colourful cards illustrate the flags and symbols of many nations and include the flag of the United Nations. The text on the back tells us about the country and their emblem, so for instance, we learn that the chrysanthemum of sixteen petals was the symbol of the Imperial House of Japan, but has come to be regarded as a national emblem as well. The text on these cards is in blue, but these were also re-issued with black text in 1973 and albums were available for both printings. The really interesting thing, of course, is seeing how many countries within the set have changed their name or flag since this was produced. This is an educational and colourful set with cards size 68 x 36mm.
