Ace Card Enterprises Films, TV, Sci Fi & Comic Art Klinger Card Collection 2017 Klinger Card Collection 2017 EL12 - These feature artwork and design by Philip Neill covering the film director/producer careers of father and son Michael and Tony Klinger and cover a diverse range of film genres. Tony Klinger provides the text on the back which includes his recollections of the films portrayed. The films behind the artwork include the 1965 film ‘The Pleasure Girls’, Roman Polanski’s ‘Repulsion’ produced by Michael Klinger, 1968’s ‘Baby Love’, ‘Get Carter’ which starred Michael Caine, black comedy ‘Pulp’ which again starred Michael Caine, ‘Confessions of a Window Cleaner’ starring Robin Askwith, adventure ‘Shout At the Devil’, documentaries on The Who and Deep Purple and ‘Just A Boy’ based on the experiences of Richard McCann. The final two cards contain pictures of cartoonist Philip Neill with card producer John Devaney and Tony Klinger himself. Size 148 x 105mm

I regard the texts as the best of all TV-related card series and this set is an absolute ‘must’ for all fans of The Avengers. Size 89 x 64mm.
