Kellogg Motoring Veteran Motor Cars 1962 Veteran Motor Cars 1962 16 - There are some simply lovely pictures in this set drawn by “Ward” and portraying beautiful old motor cars against a suitable town or country background. The vehicles include a 1930 Bentley, 1928 Aston Martin, 1915 Ford with news office in the background declaring the loss of the Luisitania, a 1914 Wolseley with billboard behind showing Kitchener’s famous recruiting poster, a 1913 Morris-Oxford with tram in the background, 1911 De Dion, 1910 Austin with Capstan Cigarettes advert behind, 1909 Napier, a Lancaster of 1908, 1907 Rolls-Royce, 1906 Rover, a Reo Runabout of 1905, an Edwardian Spyker, and Darracq, 1902 Daimler with maid and postman in the background and a lady operating a Benz 1894 in a English setting although the card back tells us there is little evidence these cars were imported to England. Lovely detailed pictures and fact filled write ups on the back, what more could you want! Cards size 67 x 36mm.
