Amongst those featured in this batch are Italian actress and writer Giovanna Ralli, Maila Nurmi who created the 1950s character Vampira, Virginia North who appeared as Olympe in the Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, Justine Lord who played David Hunter’s love interest in popular soap “Crossroads”, Jennifer Jayne who appeared in “Danger Man” Carol Dilworth who starred in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) in 1969, Antoinette Bower who appeared in such shows as “Perry Mason” and “Bonanza”, Anna Dymna who had an active career in her native Poland, Joyce Taylor who appeared in “77 Sunset Strip” and Davey Davison who appeared in “Rawhide” and “Days of Our Lives”. As always the backs are full of fascinating information, for instance, Jennifer Jayne wrote screenplays under the name Jay Fairbank or Carol Dilworth’s son is musician Chesney Hawkes. They include Bunny Yeager one of the most photographed models in Florida who later became a successful photographer herself, French actress Christine Carere, successful TV actress Edie Adams, Eve Meyer who was married to film maker Russ Meyer, Felicia Atkins who was Playboy Magazine’s Playmate of the Month for April 1958, Vickki Dougan who appeared on the cover of Life Magazine in 1953, Italian movie star Marisa Mell, Jeanne Moreau who made two films in 2012, Italian star Maria Grazia Buccella and Sandra Milo who appeared in two Fellini films. Not big names, but undeniably beautiful. Size 68 x 36mm.

Candy Barr for example was an American stripper and actress, mainly in porn films who shot her estranged husband. Scilla Gabel by contrast did TV, theatre and film work although she began as Sophia Loren’s body double. Then there’s English actress Eve Eden who appeared in ‘Carry on up the Khyber’, Italian star Marisa Allasio who quit acting when she married Count Pier Calvi di Bergolo and Vera Tschechowa the German born actress best known for being seen with Elvis Presley when he was stationed in Germany. These are not big stars but they are certainly glamorous. Size 68 x 36mm.

There is plenty of interesting information on the numbered backs concerning these girls for instance Alice Denham wrote an autobiography entitled “Sleeping with the Bad Boys”, Marion Michael enjoyed film success when just 16, Pat Sheehan married Bing Crosby’s son, Prague born Kai Fischer appeared in 87 films, Elsa Cardenas starred with Elvis in “Fun in Acapulco”, Adele Mara was a popular pin-up girl of the ‘40s, Actress Isela Vega went on to direct, Isabel Sarli was voted Miss Argentina of 1955 and Laya Raki appeared in ‘Crane’ on British TV. Perhaps the best-known is Deana Lund who appeared in the sci-fi classic ‘Land of the Giants’. Size 68 x 36mm.
