Included are Younis Ahmed who joined the club in 1984, A.J. Watkins who made his debut in 1939 and also played football for Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City, S.L. Watkin who was leading wicket taker in 1993, P.M. Walker who became a broadcaster on his retirement, M.J.L. Turnbull who was sadly killed in WWII, Ravi Shastri who made 62 appearances for Glamorgan, H. Morris who was youngest ever captain of the club in 1987, Matthew Maynard who had a career best of 243 in 1991, Austin Matthews who also played rugby, Majid Khan who moved to broadcasting in Pakistan on leaving cricket, A. R. Lewis who later became club chairman, Collis King who set several records, gifted batsman Javed Miandad, R.C. Fredericks who later became Minister for Sport in Guyanan and Johnnie Clay who is credit with saving the club from folding in the 1930s/40s.
