J.F.Sporting Collectibles Cricket Gentlemen v Players Pre-War Personalities 3rd Series 2007 Gentlemen v Players Pre-War Personalities 3rd Series 2007 LT24 - The Gentlemen, the first eleven cards in this series of sepia oval full-length photo portraits include W.G’s younger brother G. F. Grace, Yorkshire all-rounder F. W. Milligan killed in the Boer War, and the Rt. Hon. Sir F.S. Jackson whose record 4th wicket stand with Ranjisinhji helped win the 1904 fixture. Among the players are J. Gunn who took eleven wickets in the first fixture of the 20th century and Wilf Rhodes who was one of only two cricketers (the other was W.G. Grace) to score 1000 runs and take 100 wickets in these fixtures. Howzat! Size 90 x 64mm.
