Again these are black and white head and shoulders portraits which also have an inset colour caricature of the player and a brief review of their career on the reverse. Those featured include David Herd the Arsenal centre-forward, Arsenal and England International Joe Mercer, Bolton’s Ken Grieves who also played cricket for Lancashire, Raich Carter the England International who played football for Hull City and cricket for Derbyshire, Newcastle and England International Jackie Milburn and most famous of all Blackpool and England legend Stanley Matthews. Size 89 x 64mm.
