The backs give plenty of player information and contain the address of the charity which is today known as Scope. Ideal for football fans this set is size 70 x 39mm

Lamberts Tea Football Football Clubs and Badges 1958 Football Clubs and Badges 1958 25 - These cards were issued with Lamberts tea and look at the shirts and club badges of football league teams in 1958. The colour pictures on the front show the badge on or alongside a football with the team shirt in the background and the name of the club and team colours written top and bottom respectively. Included are West Bromwich Albion which was founded in 1879, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Burnley, Arsenal, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield Wednesday, Newcastle United, Preston North End, Manchester City, Wolves, Portsmouth, Chelsea, Sunderland and Everton. There is interesting information about the teams on the reverse. For instance the Manchester United card mentions the club had recently lost players in the Munich air crash and the card for Manchester City informs us they were originally known as Ardwick. This set was also issued by Francis c1965 and as an anonymous issue c1960. Ideal for anyone with an interest in football the cards are size 68 x 36mm.
