J.F.Sporting Collectibles Cricket Cricket Personalities 1940s/50s 1st Series 2000 Cricket Personalities 1940s/50s 1st Series 2000 LT24 - These black and white head and shoulders photographic portraits of British cricketers from the 1940’s and 50’s, there are five from Glamorgan and most of the counties are represented, plus three overseas players (Stollmeyer from the West Indies, Melle South Africa and Lalamarnath India). Despite the majority having also played in Tests, these are hardly household names so a good set to have, the exception being Dennis Compton who played cricket for Middlesex and England and football for Arsenal, as we discover from the comprehensive career information given on the backs.
