Sports Time (USA) Miscellaneous Trade Cards Miller Brewing Co Adverts 1995 Miller Brewing Co Adverts 1995 LT100 - As the title suggests this set, produced under licence by Sports Time, is based on adverts by the Miller Brewing Co. which was founded in 1855 and best known in this country for their Coors brand. Some of these colour pictures are works of art in their own right and all have the Miller eagle logo on the front and numbered backs with a smaller version of the front picture and interesting information. For instance we learn that when Prohibition was lifted on 7th April 1933 the company celebrated at midnight by giving free beer to thousands. We are also told that the Milwaukee company is a leading supporter of cultural diversity and the set includes a Juneteenth advert, an occasion which celebrates the ending of the Civil War on June 19th when all slaves were freed. Also included are a number of checklist cards and heritage pictures. A lovely set which may leave you craving a drink! Size 90 x 64mm.
