I’m pretty certain that no. 3 is the 1968 European Cup winners team, with Stiles, Law and Bobby Charlton in the front row alongside Matt Busby. The same four are in the line-up on no 2, so we’re talking mid-‘60s. No. 1 is from around the early 1950s, Busby with Cockburn and Rowley. Size 113 x 74mm

Neill Football Manchester United Classic Kit 2004 Manchester United Classic Kit 2004 15 - From the green and yellow strip of Newton Heath in 1892 to the present-day Manchester United colours, these cards from Philip Neill show us that the ‘Reds’ have sometimes been the whites (as when they won the F.A. Cup in 1909 and 1957), the stripes (vertical in 1912, horizontal in 1934) and the blues (1948 and 1968). The backs give an excellent history of the club and describe some of their landmark achievements. Size 68 x 36mm.

Rockwell Football Classic Reds (Manchester United F.C.) 2003 Classic Reds (Manchester United F.C.) 2003 L7 - Where do you start with a club which is a household name around the world? Well, Rockwell sensibly begin with a title card picturing Bobby Charlton and giving the basic facts , founded in 1878 as “Newton Heath”, biggest attendance 70, 504 v Aston Villa in 1920, then a list of honours, League Champions fifteen times, F.A. Cup winners ten, and so on. And that’s before we see the pictures of six of their greatest teams from 1909 (Cup Winners v Bristol City, played at Crystal Palace) through to the 1977 team which beat Liverpool in the Cup Final under Tommy Docherty’s management, he was sacked six weeks later.
