Morris Miscellaneous Cigarette Cards Horoscopes cream card 1936 Horoscopes cream card 1936 12 - None of us can be certain as to what is in store. Nonetheless it can be fun to dabble in our horoscopes imagining that the stars influence our fortunes, and you can join in with the help of Morris’s 1936 series of 12 Horoscopes with a card for each month of the year. Take someone born in January; their card will tell them about their birth sign (Aquarius), birthday jewel (garnet), colour (sky blue) and flower (primrose), a list of dates which will be your lucky days and a horoscope, the details of which we will not reveal here. Find out what your horoscope is, and those of you friends and relatives with this set. Size 68 x 36mm

Scottish CWS Miscellaneous Cigarette Cards Burns (Cream card) 1924 Burns (Cream card) 1924 25 - Produced in 1924 these lovely colour cards tell the story and illustrate some of Robert Burns best known works. His most famous composition is, of course, Auld Lang Syne which doubtless featured in most New Year celebrations and this and other poems are illustrated in the set which is interspersed with pictures of himself, his wife and relevant buildings. The card backs are very informative, for instance the card for ‘Gae Bring to Me’ recites the poem, that it was written in 1788 when he was just 29 and also tells us it was written after seeing a young officer take leave of his sweetheart.
