Gallaher Military - General Series The Great War Nos 1-50 1915 (reprint 2001) The Great War Nos 1-50 1915 (reprint 2001) 50 - This set of 50 cards numbered 1 to 50 was reproduced in 2001 from the 1915 original series and a second series numbered 51 to 100 also from 1915 was reproduced in 2003. These cards are reprinted in a slightly longer, more popular size with the extra space being occupied by a decorative scroll. The horizontal and vertical colour pictures contain a diverse selection of things relating to the Great War from the obvious motor ambulances and field telephones to the more obscure such as Belgian dog transport, washing up and a Canadian mud plough. The backs contain fascinating information concerning the subject concerned. Size 68 x 36mm.
