Cadet Native North American Indians and Cowboys Adventures of Rin Tin Tin 1960 (Cadet Sweets in two lines) Adventures of Rin Tin Tin 1960 (Cadet Sweets in two lines) 48 - The original Rin Tin Tin was a male Alsatian rescued from a World War 1 battlefield by an American soldier and taken to America where he was trained for film work and became a superstar appearing in 27 films. In the 1950s a TV show was produced titled ‘The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin’ and this set by Cadet is based on that series. The story of Rusty, a boy orphaned in a raid in the 1870s, and his dog Rinty or Rin Tin Tin who are taken in by soldiers at Fort Apache is told in colour cartoons with descriptions on the reverse. This set with cards size 65 x 37mm has the company name in two lines, but was also produced with Cadet Sweets in one line on the back as well as in a small size 60 x 32mm. These will take many right back to their childhood and are a lovely set to add to any collection.
