J.F.Sporting Collectibles Cricket Cricketers From Overseas 1960s 2007 Cricketers From Overseas 1960s 2007 LT36 - These black and white action photos each capture a split second in the careers of top overseas cricketers in the 1960s arranged alphabetically from Australia to West Indies except, rather strangely, for South Africa’s David Holford who turns up at no. 33 among eight Windies. Five of the players clocked up more than seventy Tests – Kanhai, Gibbs, Bari, Engineer and Walters – whereas Abbas turned out for Pakistan just once, details of which are recorded on the card backs. Size 89 x 64mm.

Sporting Profiles Film & Stage Stars Pre-1940 Movie Idols John Wayne Series 3 (War Films) 2010 Movie Idols John Wayne Series 3 (War Films) 2010 L15 - So prolific was the ‘Duke’, aka John Wayne the original tough guy, that Sporting Profiles have had no problem in putting together another fifteen posters featuring his starring roles in films. This selection starts with “The Sea Spoilers” (1936) and “Seven Sinners” (1940) followed by five great action movies set in World War II, the most famous of which is probably “Sands of Iwo Jima” with Wayne as the gritty Sergeant Stryker. The twelfth card has him in the all-star cast of the 1962 blockbuster “The Longest Day” and the final appearance “The Green Berets” (1968). The main actors in each film are listed on the backs. Size 78 x 60mm.
