In fact all kinds of weird and wonderful contraptions. Note also a Mustang, named after the WW2 aircraft and made in the late 1940s when plane-building ceased. Many of the plants are shown with both blossom and fruit, for instance the picture of the hazel shows the catkins which March and the nuts that appear in October. An amazing array of creatures live in these hedgerows and we see everything from spiders making their webs to a weasel. The card backs are full of facts about the subject featured and bear the Swan Vesta logo. Size 68 x 36mm.
