Each season tells a complete story and in this first season titled “Murder House” we join the Harmon family as they move into a large house in Los Angeles which they soon find out is already peopled by ghosts of former owners, both good and bad. A succession of spooky goings on and gristly murders follows. The fronts contain pictures from the story whilst the numbered backs, which include a title card and checklist, tell the story. Size 89 x 64mm.

Breygent Films, TV, Sci Fi & Comic Art Classic Vintage Movie Posters Stars Monsters Comedy (Yellow/orange back) 2009 Classic Vintage Movie Posters Stars Monsters Comedy (Yellow/orange back) 2009 LT72 - This is different from the 2007 seriess, this time categorised as Stars, Monster and Comedy. Among the classic movies featured are Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”, “The Hound of the Baskervilles” starring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, classic comedy “Pillow Talk” starring Rock Hudson and Doris Day, “Bride of Frankenstein” with Boris Karloff, “Dracula”, several Abbott & Costello films, the Marx Brothers’ “Duck Soup”, a number of Laurel & Hardy comedies including “The Flying Deuces” and Charlie Chaplin’s “The Kid”. As with the previous set some of the posters are in a foreign language. The numbered black on yellow backs are full of detail about the film and the last card is a checklist. Size 89 x 64mm.

J.F.Sporting Collectibles Cricket Cricketers 1919-1939 10th Series 2015 Cricketers 1919-1939 10th Series 2015 LT24 - In a similar format to their other nine series here we have another set of black and white pictures of cricketers playing between 1919 and 1939. Included in this batch are Worcestershire’s H.L. Higgins, A.C. Watson who played 104 matches for Sussex, Surrey’s J.F. Parker, Lord N.W.M. Rothschild of Northamptonshire, A. Mounteney of Leicestershire who also played football for a number of teams including Preston North End, G.J. Bryan of Kent, Gloucestershire’s E.G. Dennett who took all 10 wickets in an innings against Essex in 1906 and Glamorgan wicket-keeper J. Stone. The numbered backs give brief career details. Size 91 x 64mm.

Among the star players included are Manchester City’s Colin Bell, Leeds United midfielder Billy Bremner, Andy Lochhead of Burnley, Leicester City’s Allan Clarke, Alex Ferguson then playing for Dunfermline, Blackburn’s Keith Newton, Hibernian’s Peter Cormack who went on to win the F.A Cup with Liverpool, Roger Hunt the Liverpool player who was part of the winning 1966 World Cup team, Sheffield United’s Tony Currie and Everton’s Tommy Wright. The numbered backs contain details of their playing careers such as clubs played for, cups won etc. Size 68 x 36mm.

They include Billy Malpass who made 155 appearances for Wolves, West Brom’s Jesse Pennington, who captained the team that won the First Division Championship, and star player Bill Bassett, Third Lanark’s Robert Barr, Sunderland’s Hughie Wilson who was signed for £70 in 1890, Jimmy Ross the Preston North End star who scored one of the goals in their 3-0 F A Cup final win, Liverpool’s Harry Storer who also played cricket for Derbyshire and Celtic all-time great outside-left Jimmy Quinn. The numbered backs contain a wealth of information regarding the player. Size 91 x 64mm.

The remainder of the cards are close-ups of some of the huge cast, including Charles Dance who played the Lord Tywin Lannister, whilst the numbered backs give you the background to the character. Brindley Pop Stars & Singers Pop Stars (Series of 15 but only 8 cards issued) c1993 Pop Stars (Series of 15 but only 8 cards issued) c1993 8 - It is believed that these eight cards were intended to be part of a larger set of fifteen but in fact only eight different cards were printed sometime around 1993. The backgrounds to the fronts are in varying light to dark shades of gold/olive with an oval black and white picture of the pop star or stars in the centre performing on stage. The stars concerned are Bob Geldof, Freddie Mercury, Brian Ferry, Phil Collins, Sting, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Pete Townsend & Roger Daltry. The backs are numbered 1 to 4, 7 and 13 to 15 and as well as the printer’s details the backs feature the words “With Compliments Orpheus Records” and their address, but other than this are blank save for the star’s name. Size 70 x 38mm.

Included in this batch are the Wolves wing-hand Ron Flowers who was also in the 1966 World Cup squad, Tottenham’s Dave Mackay, Duncan Edwards whose Manchester United career was tragically ended in the Munich air crash, Leeds United’s Jack Charlton who was also a member of the 1966 England side, Charlton Athletic’s goalie Sam Bartram and Stuart Leary of who also played cricket for Kent, Lancashire cricketer Ken Grieves the Australian born goalkeeper for Bolton, Birmingham City’s Trevor Smith and Pat Saward of Aston Villa. The numbered backs tell her story from her birth in November 1922 when she was known as Constance Ockelman through to her death in July 1973 at the age of just 50. Her first film was ‘Soroity House’ in 1939, but it was her role in the 1941 film ‘I Wanted Wings’ which really made her name. A string of hits followed including ‘Sullivan’s Travels’, ‘This Gun for Hire’, ‘So Proudly We Hail’ and ‘Blue Dahlia’. She really smoulders in these alluring shots. Size 89 x 64mm.

Rather confusingly they are not marked 2nd series so they can not be distinguished from the first issue, so we have listed them. Chelsea’s Barry Bridges (card no. 1), Dennis Clarke of Huddersfield Town (2), Steve Kember who began and ended his career with Crystal Palace (3), Cyril Knowles of Spurs (4), Newcastle’s Malcolm MacDonald (5), Manchester City’s Bobby Kennedy (6), West Ham and England legend Bobby Moore (7), Aston Villa’s Willie Anderson (8), Scottish born Manchester United player Martin Buchan (9) and Stoke’s Eddie Clamp (10). The numbered backs contain a brief career history, but Series. Size 68 x 36mm.

Tolkien’s popular book The Hobbit. The fronts show action shots from the film which follows the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (the Hobbit), Wizard Gandalf the Grey and his Dwarf companions in their quest to reclaim Lonely Mountain and the lost Dwarf kingdom of Erebor, which ultimately leads to a terrifying encounter with a dragon called Smaug. The all-star cast included Martin Freeman as Bilbo and Ian McKellan as Gandalf. The numbered backs contain a different mini picture set inside a ring and a very brief summary of the action, whilst the last card is a checklist. Size 89 x 64mm.

Kellogg Miscellaneous Trade Cards Tony Racing Stickers 1988 Tony Racing Stickers 1988 K8 - They are a set of 8 stickers all featuring Tony the cartoon tiger who appeared in TV adverts for Kellogg’s Frosties breakfast cereal. Two of them refer to the Frosties “secret formula whilst the rest have a racing theme with titles like ‘Racing Team’ or ‘Rally Champ”. The backs are plain and the overall size is 51 x 38mm.
