Flags Of The World Nos. 1-72 1978
Flags Of The World Nos. 1-72 1978 L72 - This brightly coloured set would make a good educational tool as the flags fill the whole card except for a white border and you may think you know your flags, but there are bound to be some to test your knowledge here. We start with the blue, yellow and black of the Bahamas and end with the three elephants of Laos. Along the way there are some familiar ones such as Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Eire, France and Israel, but obviously there have been some changes over the years and this set predates the unification of Germany so there are flags for East and West. Also we had never heard of the Aland Islands let alone seen their flag! The numbered backs contain the firm’s name and address and the name of the country. This set was produced in conjunction with another series Numbered 72 to 144 (see website for availability) and both backs have the words “collect all 144 cards in this fascinating Flags of the World Series”. These are size 85 x 60mm.

Flags Of The World Nos. 73-144 1978
Flags Of The World Nos. 73-144 1978 L72 - This set was produced in conjunction with a series Numbered 1 to 72 (see website for availability) and both backs have the words “collect all 144 cards in this fascinating Flags of the World Series”. We continue the theme with cards ranging from the cedar tree of Lebenon to the green, red, black and orange of Zambia and all countries in between. The brightly coloured set would make a good educational tool as the flags fill the whole card except for a white border and you may think you know your flags, but there are bound to be some to test your knowledge here. Doubtless some of these flags have changed since 1978 and this is certainly the case for Rhodesia which today has a new name and flag and also for Yugoslavia which no longer exists as an entity having split into different countries. The numbered backs contain the firm’s name and address and the name of the country. These are size 85 x 60mm.
