Production began at Shepperton Studios in 1965 with a budget of £180,000 and the film was released that summer to lukewarm critical reaction, despite starring Peter Cushing as The Doctor, we learn on the first two cards in this series which goes on to showcase scenes from the film and some of the actors such as Bernard Cribbins, Philip Madoc and, of course, the Daleks.
