Frameability Football World Cup Winners 1966 (England) 2002 World Cup Winners 1966 (England) 2002 L10 - It was Brazil who celebrated victory in the World Cup in 2002 when this series was issued. England did well, but not enough to emulate the 1966 side which is celebrated in this series of colour cards featuring scenes from that historic encounter with Germany at Wembley. As Hurst blasted the ball into the net in the final seconds of extra time, it famously provided Ken Wolstenholme with the immortal lines “And there are fans on the pitch. They think it’s all over. It is now!” Top-notch descriptive backs. Size 79 x 62mm.
