The excellent colour drawings of players from the 1922-32 period include Douglas Jardine, Bob Wyatt, Harold Larwood, Herbert Sutcliffe, Wally Hammond, Hedley Verity, the Nawab of Pataudi, Les Amies and George Duckworth. All are depicted with their county badge in the bottom right corner and fact filled text on the reverse. A must for any lover of the game. Cards size 68 x 36mm.

County Print Cricket Cricket Teams 1884-1900 (1990) Cricket Teams 1884-1900 (1990) EL24 - As the title suggests this set is made up of sepia pictures of cricket teams from the 1884-1900 period, with team members listed in a white box below. Included are the 1893 Australian team, the 1896 England team which included W.G. Grace, the 1898 Middlesex team, the 1898 Yorkshire team with Lord Hawke and W. Rhodes, Surrey’s 1898 team, the Australian team of 1890 which included H. Trumble and W.L. Murdoch, Somerset’s 1897 team, the 1897 Kent team, the Nottinghamshire county team of 1898, the 1898 Gloucestershire team with our friend W.G. Grace again, the 1898 Essex team, the 1898 Lancashire team with J. T. Tyldesley and the Sussex team of 1897 with the legendary C.B. Fry and K.S. Ranjitsihnji. The backs contain averages for the team that season except for the Lord’s Match in July 1898 which contains a write up of the match. An interesting set for any cricket lover. Cards size 108 x 80mm.

County Print Cricket Durham County Cricket Club Pavilions 1992 (Postcards) Durham County Cricket Club Pavilions 1992 (Postcards) EL7 - This set was produced when Durham had just been elevated from the minor counties to first class cricket. Most of their fixtures are played at their Riverside Ground in Chester-le- Street, but this set pictures pavilions at some of other grounds the county side have played at including the Racecourse Ground in Durham which staged the first home fixture in first class cricket in 1992, the County Cricket Ground at Jesmond, Park Drive, Hartlepool, Ropery Lane, Chester-le-Street which is situated only a short walk away from the Riverside Ground which the back refers to as “the proposed Riverside Park development and new County Cricket Ground”, Feethams in Darlington where Durham played Somerset in 1992 Grangefield Road, Stockton-On-Tees where in 1996 Durham played Surrey and Eastwood Gardens in Gateshead who’s pavilion was rebuilt in 1966/67 after a fire. The postcard format backs contain a few words about the venue and all the photographs were printed with the permission of William A. Powell author of the Wisden Guide to Cricket Grounds. These come in an envelope marked “Durham County Cricket Club Inaugural First Class Season 1992”. Size 140 x 90mm

County Print Cricket Crickets Pace Partners 1996 Crickets Pace Partners 1996 EL12 - This set looks at famous Test bowlers through the ages with two oval cameo portraits by artist Mike Tarr per card and interesting text on the reverse by A. Lodge. The set begins with Charlie Turner & John Ferris who led the Australian bowling attack between 1887 and 1890 and goes on to include Harold Larwood and Bill Voice who took part in the infamous ‘Bodyline tour of 1932-33, Fred Trueman and Brian Statham, West Indian legends Malcolm Marshall and Joel Garner (Joel also played for Somerset and was adored by local fans), Pakistan stars Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis and South Africans Allan Donald and Fanie De Villiers. An excellent set for any cricket lover with cards size 110 x 80mm.

County Print Cricket 1912 Triangular Tournament Cricket 1992 1912 Triangular Tournament Cricket 1992 50 - The Triangular Tournament was a series of cricket test matches staged between England, Australia and South Africa and this set pictures 17 of the English players, 12 Australians and 20 South Africans in oval head and shoulders portraits within an ornamental border. Players include J.B Hobbs, C.B. Fry, Charles Kelleway, G.R Hazlitt, Reginald Schwarz and A.W. Nourse. The brown on white numbered backs by cricket writer Robert Brooke give a wonderful inside into the progress of the tournament and the individual achievements of the players. County Print Cricket 1920s Test Cricketers 1st Series 1994 1920s Test Cricketers 1st Series 1994 M24 - Artist John Hawkins is responsible for the colour action portraits in this series set against a dark background. Included amongst the great names of English and Australian cricket in the golden era after World War I are Australian A.A. Mailey, Surrey’s J.B. Hobbs, H. Sutcliffe of Yorkshire, Kent’s F.E. Woolley and Gloucestershire’s W.R. Hammond. There are excellent biographies by Brian Heald on the backs which are full of interesting facts about the players. A second series in similar format was produced in 1996. These cards are size 79 x 51mm
