Ogdens Reprinted Series The Story of the Lifeboat 1940 (without Ogdens) reprint 2001 The Story of the Lifeboat 1940 (without Ogdens) reprint 2001 50 - This set of 50 cards is unusual in that although technically a reprint it is not marked as such. This is because although prepared for Ogdens this set was never printed. The colour pictures on the fronts cover everything relating to lifeboats, from Lt. Col. Sir William Hillary the founder of the Life-boat Service to famous Coxswains, including some of the boats, pictures of actual rescues, even diagrams and pictures of how things work. The backs contain comprehensive information on the subject and a mini black and white storm picture at the bottom. Size 68 x 36mm.
