Ships Badges 1925 (C.C.S. reprint 2000) 50 - The ships’ badges of fifty Royal Navy vessels, issued in 1925. Among the famous names are Admiral Beattie’s flagship Queen Elizabeth, on board which the surrender of the German fleet took place in 1918, the battlecruisers ‘Hood’ and ‘Repulse’, the aircraft carrier ‘Argus’ and the torpedo boat destroyer ‘Verdun’ which on 10th November 1920 brought over the body of the “Unknown Warrior” from France.
