British Trucks (1950s and 1960s) 2010
British Trucks (1950s and 1960s) 2010 L10 - Golden Era did a set in 1999 then it was titled “British Lorries of the 1950s & 1960s”. This new series calls them trucks instead of lorries. The subjects are British through and through, with examples from Austin, Foden, Fordson, Leyland, Morris and Scammell, plus a Bedford TK of the type I once drove myself as a summer job, all dating from the 1950s and 1960s. Mike Jeffries original artwork is absolutely superb, recreating the period perfectly and in stunning detail, whilst the texts are of the high quality we expect from this firm. Size 79 x 62mm.

Bygone Buses (1950s and 1960s) 2010
Bygone Buses (1950s and 1960s) 2010 L10 - Mike Jeffries’ illustrations are simply terrific, bringing to life scenes from half a century ago with some extraordinarily evocative portraits of buses and coaches, from Bristol K double-decker on a sunny Weymouth sea-front to a Daimler CWA 6 threading its way through Mersey Square, Stockport in the drizzle of a gloomy evening. The classic vehicles were built to last – witness the “new lock” Guy Arab MK IV in service with Birmingham City Transport from 1950 to 1977. This set is a must for anyone with even a passing interest in P.S.Vs. Size 79 x 62mm.
