Mikado Cats by Louis Wain Series LW13 2010 EL6 - As you will infer from the code LW13, this is the thirteenth series of cards celebrating the work of ‘cat artist’ Louis Wain (1860 to 1939). This particular group dates from around 1904 and features paintings of groups of cats on the Japanese Mikado theme with titles such as “The Play’s the thing”, “We won’t go home till morning”, and so on.
