Boxing 1924 reprint 2002
Issuer: Franklyn Davey Condition: Mint Description: The Bristol firm of Franklyn Davey produced a series of 25 boxing cards in 1924 (the same as Ogden’s 1914 series) and these were reprinted in 2002. These colour cards should more accurately be called boxing lessons since they take you through the different moves necessary in the noble art. The fronts picture one or two boxers demonstrating a technique whilst the card backs give full details of how to achieve this, starting with the basic position through to stopping a left handed punch whilst preparing to land one. Size 68 x 36mm. Number of cards in set: 25
Price for complete set: Only £6.00
