Their first film as a team was in 1925, but this latest card series of Movie Idols begins in 1929 with “The Cocoanuts” and treats us to “Animal Crackers”, “Monkey Business”, “Horse Feathers”, “Duck Soup”, “A Night at the Opera”, “A Day at the Races” and so on through to “The Big Store” (1941), their last team-effort, plus two further films minus Zeppo, all recalled on the original film posters. Size 77 x 60mm.

Each is a colour reproduction of the advertising poster, with the principal cast members listed on the back. Included are two of my favourites, Top Hat and Follow The Fleet, the latter with Randolph Scott and Betty Gable helping Seaman Bake Baker (Astaire) and nightclub dancer Sherry Martin (Rogers) make the most of Irving Berlin’s delightful score.
