Frazetta II The Legend Continues Fantasy Art 1993 LT90 - Frank Frazetta’s artistic career took off in 1948 when he was commissioned to illustrate ’Exciting Comics’ which brought him to the attention of Al Capp, creator of ‘Lil’ Abner’. From then on his work branched out into all kinds of fantasy art, as we can see in this card series where the emphasis is on imaginary beasts, muscly warriors and well-endowed women. He has illustrated film posters and has done record album covers from Herman and the Hermits to heavy metal. A museum of his work was opened in 1984. Size 89 x 64mm.
